Appointments are thoughtfully scheduled by route to ensure an efficient and seamless experience. We will confirm your appointment time or suggest the

next available day in your area. 

Located outside of our service area? We may still be able to accommodate your appointment for a travel fee. Travel fees may be waived when three or more pets are scheduled in the same town on the same day within a 15-mile radius of Cedar Rapids.

Mobile grooming offers a personalized, one-on-one experience for your pet, with no waiting or exposure to other animals. We come directly to you, saving you time and hassle by eliminating the need for multiple trips to a traditional salon. Plus, your pet enjoys a calm, cage-free environment throughout the grooming process. This added convenience, comfort, and flexibility, whether you’re home or away, contribute to the slightly higher cost compared to traditional grooming services.

The time it takes depends on your pet’s breed, size, condition of the coat, and the services requested, but on average, grooming takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. We make sure to take the time needed to ensure your pet is comfortable and well taken care of.

We offer a state-of-the-art grooming van that operates equipment on batteries, which are charged every night like an electric car. All our equipment runs on these batteries throughout the day, providing clean energy and operating quietly, with no need for a generator. We also bring our own water, so you don’t need to worry about providing anything. We have everything we need to pamper your pet.

Absolutely! We can groom your pet even if you’re not home. Just prearrange with us to leave a key, garage code, or arrange for a family member or neighbor to give us access to your pet. Kindly provide clear instructions for safely retrieving your dog, along with any specific grooming preferences so we can care for your fur baby exactly as you envision.

Our van is fully climate-controlled to keep your pet comfortable. We have air conditioning for hot days and heat for colder weather. 

Because weather can change quickly, weather could result in last-minute cancellations or adjustments for the safety of clients, pets, and staff. In cases of predicted severe weather, appointments may be rescheduled in advance to ensure a safe and reliable experience. We will make every effort to notify you promptly and reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.

We use premium, professional-grade grooming products made specifically for dogs. These formulas are known for their natural ingredients, essential oil blends, rich lather, and skin-soothing botanicals that leave the coat soft, healthy, and beautifully conditioned. 

Our grooming van is thoughtfully outfitted with custom shelving to house a curated selection of high-end, coat-specific shampoos and conditioners. This allows us to choose the ideal formula for your dog’s unique coat texture, skin needs, and grooming goals.

If you prefer certain scents or have sensitivities you’d like us to avoid, simply let your groomer know — we’re always happy to accommodate.

Most dogs are more distracted when their owners are present, which can affect the grooming process. For this reason, pets are groomed independently to help them stay relaxed and focused.

Of course! We’d be happy to show you around our mobile pet spa. Just let us know when we arrive, and we’ll give you a tour of the van.

Yes! We offer $10 off each additional pet in the same household scheduled on the same day.

Our grooming van parks in your driveway or private lot. Due to local regulations, we cannot park on the street or right-of-way.

To avoid the risk of the van becoming stuck or equipment being damaged, the groomer is unable to drive on gravel or dirt roads, however, we’re happy to meet at a nearby paved location if available. Call/text for more information. 

We always use fresh, clean water for each pet. After grooming, we collect all used water in a special holding tank, which we dispose of safely. You won’t have to worry about anything being left behind, and we prioritize both hygiene and your pet’s comfort.

We may be able to accommodate dogs over 80 pounds, but our availability is limited. Please give us a call to discuss your pet’s needs.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we do our best to be flexible when true emergencies occur. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service.

No-shows or same day, last-minute cancellations will be charged the full cost of the appointment. This policy helps ensure fairness to all clients and allows us to maintain a reliable schedule. If your schedule changes and you need to switch your service to latchkey, just let us know retrieval information and we’ll take care of your pet from there. 

Pets should be ready and accessible at the scheduled appointment time. If we are unable to begin the appointment as planned, the time will be charged as extra time for the groom.
